The QUBO Series of worm gearboxes is designed with versatility and long-term performance in mind. The housings are made from die-cast aluminium for sizes 25-90 and cast iron for sizes 110-150, ensuring high strength and thermal dissipation. The gearboxes are uniquely designed for easy mounting in any position without the need for prior specification, offering installation flexibility.

For sizes 75 and above, 2 taper roller bearings are mounted on the wormshaft to enhance mechanical resistance to axial thrust generated by the wormwheel. To maintain lubrication inside the bearings even when not in contact with the oil bath, nilos or special RS shields are used. This allows the QUBO range from size 30 to 150 to be mounted in V5 and V6 positions without additional accessories.

The housing shape is optimized to ensure efficient water or liquid drainage if the gearbox is exposed to splashing or washing. Synthetic oil is used for sizes 30-90, ensuring a long, maintenance-free lifespan, while sizes 110-150 use mineral oil (synthetic oil is available on request).
